AH Grade
AH-70, as a most favorite sub category of Aryl Hydrocarbon Bitumen, enjoying waterproofing and adhesive features, is considered as a functional favorite type of bitumen by China’s market. AH bitumen mostly used in China and consists of different grades like AH-50, AH-70, AH-90, AH-110, & AH-130.
We are ready to have your order for different grades of AH bitumen; don’t hesitate to contact.

Performance Grade
Performance grade bitumen, or simply PG, is classified regarding the bitumen performance in low, medium and high temperatures.
Two numbers after the word PG shows respectively the highest and lowest temperatures in which the bitumen can be used; e.g. PG 64-22.
PG bitumen might be the best choice when we are seeking for preventing road construction damages particularly rutting and thermal cracking.
Follow different types of performance grade as below:
High Temperature Grade, °C | Low Temperature Grade, °C |
PG 46 | 34, 40, 46 |
PG 52 | 10, 16, 22, 28, 34, 40, 46 |
PG 58 | 16, 22, 28, 34, 40 |
PG 64 | 10, 16, 22, 28, 34, 40 |
PG 70 | 10, 16, 22, 28, 34, 40 |
PG 76 | 10, 16, 22, 28, 34 |
PG 82 | 10, 16, 22, 28, 34, 40 |
Oxidized Bitumen
This kind of bitumen is made through hot air, 200-300 Celsius, blowing on the PEN bitumen which leads to a product with a lower penetration degree and higher softening point. This kind of bitumen, divided into 3 groups (low, medium, and high grades) regarding its softening point and penetration, is featured for its rubbery properties.
Having high water resistance properties, oxidized bitumen has many functions in roofing, flooring, hydropower applications, resin & mastics, and insulation usage.
All different types of Oxidized or blown bitumen is shown with R and two numbers which indicate respectively softening point and penetration.
R75/25, R75/30, R85/25, R85/40, R95/25, R90/40 included in low grades, R90/10, R90/15 as medium grades, while R115/15, R110/15, R105/5, R105/15, R105/35 and R150/5 placed in hard grades category.
The R85/25 is the most known oxidized grade in the market. Though R85/40 in some Scandinavian countries such as Sweden, Finland, Denmark, etc. is widely used. Malaysia also is other loyal client for this kind of bitumen.
Oxidized bitumen packing mainly are polyester, polyamide, and cartoon.
Having been equipped with high-tech facilities provided by our business partners manufacturing all grades of oxidized bitumen, Nexoil is ready to have your orders.
Bitumen Emulsion
Bitumen Emulsion is a mixture of water and bitumen in which the portion of bitumen varies from 55-65 percent. This combination in which bitumen is suspended in water, is produced by using a material called emulsifier. Emulsion bitumen is divided into anionic, cationic, and nonionic and classified under three sub-categories namely RS, MS, and SS.
This kind of bitumen is applied mostly in road maintenance including tack coats, damage seals, slurry seals and micro surfacing.
Rapid setting type (RS) | CRS-1, CRS-2, CRS-1H, K1-40, K1-60, K1-70, | RS-1, RS-2 |
Medium setting type (MS) | CMS-1, CMS-1, CMS-2H, K2, K3 | MS-1, MS-2, MS-2H, HFMS-1, HFMS-1, HFMS-2H, HFMS-2S |
Slow setting type (SS) | CSS-1, CSS-1H, Modified CSS-1H | SS-1, SS-1H, Modified SS-1H |
Cutback Bitumen
This is the low-viscosity bitumen produced as a combination of soft PEN grade bitumen and petrochemical solvents like kerosene, naphtha, diesel oil. Cutback bitumen doesn’t need heating operation before use and is more suitable for cold weather. Repairing damages, surface dressing or sprayed sealing, are major applications for this type of bitumen.
Cutback bitumen is classified as SC(slow curing), MC(medium curing), and RC(rapid curing).
SC, slow curing cutback bitumen, known as road oil too, has different grades which are 30, 70, 250, 800 and 3000.
MC, the next type of cutback bitumen, has wide usage in tack coats, fog seals, slurry seals, and stabilizers. Many countries, such as Kenya and Tanzania, are interested in MC grades. MC categories are MC30, MC70, MC250, MC800, and MC3000.
If you look for more information and order MC grades, do not hesitate to contact us in Nexoil.
RC, the other type of cutback bitumen produced by adding naphtha or gasoline as a solvent to bitumen. RC30, RC70, RC250, RC800, and RC3000 are different grades of rapid curing cutback bitumen.
